Saudi Arabian Centennial

Lighting Technician

Three week installation for Prince Feisl’s celebration of the Saudi Arabian Centennial.  Contracted by the Jack Morton Agency, Los Angeles.  Worked in cooperation with John Osborne, lighting designer, and Live Light of Sacramento, CA. Total set size of  650’ long x 45’ high.  Responsibilities included: Packing and shipping lighting and electrics equipment via 747; Arrival and distribution of equipment; operation of heavy machinery for installation of lighting towers; complete distribution of power and lighting on main set. Provided Jack Morton Agency with dramatic still photography post-event.

Project Manager

Contracted by Party Planners West, Marina del Rey, CA.

Project manager for NFL Experience interactive theme park. U.S. tour of selected cities and Super Bowls XXVII – XXX.  Responsibilities included: setup and operation of 20-acre interactive theme park, including maintenance and upkeep of 27 semi loads of equipment during pre-season; supervising crew of 45 for setup and operation of event at Super Bowl; supervising crew of 15 for pre-season preparation.

Technical Director for AFL Sensation interactive theme park. AFL finals – Findler’s Park Tennis Center.  Responsibilities included: Procuring audio, video, lighting and power equipment from Australian vendors for installation and operation of interactive theme park.
